This position supports the Services Americas HS&E team in enhancing safety behaviors and achieving HS&E Excellence in the Services Americas region.
Develop Relationships with Key Clients in marketplace to establish avenue for lessons learned from industry counterparts and best practice sharing.
Assist Project Managers in the development of site safety plans and execution of HSE on field service jobs.
Coordinate all activities related to environmental, health and safety compliance to ensure that issues are managed according to legal requirements, company and client policies and procedures.
Assist in the implementation of active training programs and new initiatives to ensure employee safety and regulatory compliance.
Input, maintain and create reports in the following databases: (1) incident data, (2) training records, (3) audits and inspections.
Perform ergonomic office/workplace assessments.
Coordinate health & wellness initiatives and fairs.
Serve on HS&E committees as needed.
Conduct HS&E-related compliance audits, inspections, and assessments of company and client job sites and workplaces across the business and ensure that the region is compliant with HS&E-related regulatory affairs, company standards, and client requirements.
Develop, implement and manage HS&E policies, plans, procedures and processes to ensure the effective management of hazard identification, assessment of risk and implementation of controls.
Develop and facilitate training, safety meeting topics and safety notices for employees on issues related to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Assist supervisors with incident management including performing root cause analysis of HSE incidents at client sites, and assist in case management of reported injuries.
Coordinate health and safety related programs for Computer Based Training, Monthly Safety Team Meetings, Shift Start-Up Meetings, TRIR tracking, environmental compliance, OSHA documents, root cause analysis for near miss and safety incidents.
Creates and updates Job Safety Analysis and HIRA.Provide appropriate training for blood borne pathogens, noise and hearing conservation, respiratory fitness, injury prevention, etc.
Consult with supervisor/manager with questions relating to HS&E responsibilities.
